Finding the Cause of Breast Cancer: Caitlyn Mosher Ellis
As Executive Director of Find The Cause Breast Cancer Foundation since 2019, Caitlyn Mosher Ellis leads with both purpose and passion. A seasoned nonprofit professional and proven fundraiser, Caitlyn brings years of experience building meaningful partnerships that drive impact.
Caitlyn is deeply committed to advancing the science of prevention. While serving as Executive Director she was diagnosed in 2022 with breast cancer and like so many, with no family history of the disease. The mission of Find The Cause then became profoundly personal. She channels that experience into her work every day, ensuring that the organization continues to fund groundbreaking research that identifies the environmental causes of breast cancer — and ultimately prevents it.
When she’s not championing prevention-focused science and education, Caitlyn can often be found skiing the slopes of Sunday River Maine or spending time with her husband by the water in West Falmouth.
